Why I started Logan Talks Health

Hi,

I started Logan Talks Health because it's time someone in my industry speaks out on the bullshit that's happening. Consumers have NO idea what they are taking, and it's time they did.

99% of supplement brands are set up to extract as much profit as possible, without a care in the world about whether the thing you're putting in your body actually does anything or contains what it says on the label.

Same in most industries, to be fair.

I've been in the industry since 2021, and before that, I worked next door but one to the industry since 2018. I've seen some horrifying lab work over the years. Stuff I should have shared at the time but didn't, because I was afraid of being sued. Stuff that I am now sharing with the world, despite the legal risks that come with it.

Most of the supplement industry is made up of marketers who are good at selling. So they get into the industry and do what they are good at. Selling.

But they don't give an F about what they are selling, or even know anything about it most of the time.

They buy "beetroot" or whatever active from whoever will sell it at the lowest price and get it put into capsules. They don't verify that it's actually beetroot, or that it's a good quantity, and they usually don't even see it.

So here's what I am doing about it.

Each month, I spend tens of thousands of pounds buying products off the shelf, sending them to accredited third-party labs, and publishing the results whether they're good, bad, or embarrassing for the brand.

Before you ask…

"How can we trust you when you sell supplements yourself? You're just bashing other brands to make yourself look better."

The honest answer is that the only reason I know this much about the industry, lab testing, label claims, under-dosing, and the tricks some brands use is because I'm in the industry. I've seen how it works from the inside.

And yes, I own a supplement brand. We third-party test every batch before it goes out to customers. Imagine if we didn't, while I'm making the kind of content I do. That would be ridiculous.

So take the information or leave it. Buy from a brand that tests, or don't. Trust nothing and nobody but lab work. Don't trust my lab work? Fair enough. Verify for yourself. Send our stuff to a lab. I am yet to find another brand that does the level of testing we do.

I am not "knocking" other brands. I am hiring the best labs in the world to test them and sharing the results. I publish both good and bad results.

Here's how the testing works: products are purchased as normal retail customers would buy them, sent to the lab with the seal still intact, and the lab verifies this before testing. The only way to "trick" that system would be for the lab itself to fake results.

And if you think I can afford to bribe accredited labs, labs that cost millions to set up, into risking their reputation, accreditation and legal consequences just to fake a few reports for me, then I really don't know what to tell you.

I invite anyone to verify my work. Send my supplements, or any other brand's supplements, to an independent lab and check the results for yourself. I am 100% confident, because every single batch that has gone out of my manufacturing facility has already been tested.

That's the standard every supplement brand should be held to. Testing should be more commonplace, and I am hoping my content will push the industry in that direction.

The problem is, of course, that any time I make a video, I get a legal threat. They snoop over every word to find anything they can use to create a case, which they then use to threaten me with.

I then have to spend thousands on lawyers to reply properly…

So the cost of these videos is very high. Not just the testing, but defending them once they're out is a real pain in the arse.

But that's the path I have chosen.
